Cynthia Harden

M.ed, MPA

Ms. Cynthia, a Chicago native, started her teaching career in the Chicago Public Schools. Over the years she has worked for the KCK and KCMO public schools and is now the Director here at The Children's Table.

Ms. Cynthia is a proud graduate of Lincoln University of Missouri where she received her bachelor's degree. She also has her Master's Degree in Education from Loyola University of Chicago as well as a Master's Degree from the University of Illinois (Chicago) in Public Administration.

Ms. Cynthia is a life-long learner and is passionate about students using their knowledge to achieve their educational goals in life. She is a Silver Star and Life Member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

Miss Cynthia is especially passionate about Early Childhood Education because she says the early years of learning are the building blocks for success throughout a child's lifetime.

Kathy Swain

Miss Kathy is head of our Infant Room here at The Children's Table. She has been a teacher in Early Childhood Education for over thirty years. She has worked in many school districts as well as Kindercare and other early childhood learning centers and is specialized in working with children with special needs.

Miss Kathy loves working with infants and toddlers as Early Childhood Education is her passion.
