Shanna brings over two decades of expertise in Business, Revenue, and Team Management to her role at The Children's Table. Her journey in childhood education began in high school when she played a pivotal role in launching an early childhood program. This initiative has since blossomed into a critical resource for young, single parents in the Lee’s Summit community. Her leadership continued as she spearheaded the Children’s Church at Blue Springs Christian Church, blending her love for teaching with spiritual guidance.

Having always harbored a passion for education, Shanna has found her true calling in uniting her career with her personal dedication at The Children's Table. She is a fervent advocate for creating an environment rooted in love, trust, and compassion—values she believes are fundamental for nurturing young minds and building a supportive community.

Outside her professional life, Shanna is deeply devoted to her family, including four children, three grandchildren, and her husband of ten years. In her leisure time, she enjoys an array of activities that keep her spirit adventurous and engaged. From diving into the latest books to skydiving, watching gymnastics, and immersing herself in nature, Shanna embraces every opportunity to explore and enjoy life to its fullest.

Jenni joins The Children's Table with a robust educational background, holding a degree in Music Education complemented by extensive experience in childcare and focused group teaching. In her role as a teacher for our 3-4-year-olds, Jenni is deeply committed to sparking a lifelong love for learning in each child. Her approach combines creative educational techniques with the fundamentals of early childhood development, ensuring a rich learning environment that prepares students not just for Pre-K, but sets a foundation for future academic and personal growth. With Jenni’s guidance, children explore, discover, and learn in ways that build confidence and curiosity about the world around them.

Beyond the classroom, Jenni finds joy in life’s simple pleasures. She cherishes quality time with her family, which includes her two daughters, her husband of fifteen years, two playful dogs, and a mischievous cat. Whether she’s lost in a good book, experimenting with new recipes, exploring nature trails, or engaging in a game of Minecraft, Jenni embraces each moment with enthusiasm.
