April 7-11

This week in Tiny Table Talks, we begin our April theme: Hope Awaits. Using a wrapped present to spark curiosity and excitement, the children explore the idea of hope—that feeling of looking forward to something good, even when we don’t know exactly what it will be.

We talk about how hope fills us with joy and anticipation, just like waiting to open a gift. We also connect this idea to our spirituality, learning that we place our hope in Jesus and trust that He brings meaning and purpose to our lives.

Our spiritual practice this month is generosity, and the children are encouraged to think of ways they can share hope by being generous with others. Whether it’s through kind words, helpful actions, or thoughtful gestures, generosity becomes a way for them to offer hope to those around them.

As the month continues, we keep discovering how living generously helps us—and others—look ahead with hope.
