April 21-25

This week in Tiny Table Talks, we focus on the question: Where do we find hope? With a playful introduction using binoculars, the children learn that sometimes hope is easy to spot—and other times, we have to look more closely to find it.

We talk about how binoculars help us see things that are far away, like birds up in trees. In the same way, when life feels difficult or uncertain, we may need to look a little harder to find hope. The children share where they look for hope, and together we reflect on how our spirituality, our church community, and Jesus can be places where hope is always within reach.

As part of our ongoing spiritual practice of generosity, the children are encouraged to think about how they can be generous with their time this week to help someone else see hope more clearly.

This lesson reminds us that even when hope feels distant, it’s never out of sight—and often, it’s closer than we think.
